An Almost Experience!

It is not an uncommon scene for me at least.
We always see vans and carts carrying dangerous construction materials in roads with a huge possibility of hitting and hurting people severely!!!
Me and the rickshaw puller almost had it today!
It is not that serious, I know, but it can be.
Let's raise our voice before something really serious happens to us and we are left with no ways!
Don't just lose your sense and sensibility anymore, let's deal with it!

Where is the footpath?

You may have guessed the place already!
Whatever, this should be the footpath.
But where is it?
I don't find it.
Do You?

Riding in the footpath!

At Shahbagh beside the Shishu Park, I found these guys riding bikes in the footpath!!
Almost in every roads people now-a-days take their bikes on the footpath to avoid the jam!!

Where are we going? Where have we lost our civic sense?
Just where?

International Representation!

In the left, it's a normal stadium of Navi Mumbai, India and In the bottom it's the only international cricket stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.

The first one is one of the many venues from India of World Cup -2011. And the second one is the one of the few venues from Bangladesh for the same tournament!
Do you see the difference? Or is it just me who is thinking about the impression on global audience?

Have Some Mercy, Please!

This news actually is not that serious in terms of the other we get to know more or less!
So,
Dear Doctors,
Have some mercy on us! Please!

One Huge Misdeed!

I meet him almost every time I visit Baily Road. He does not know me, but I know him well, very well.
He lives in the foot path with his mother and a younger brother.
He has no else place to go or live or has any other thing to do!
He lives in the trashes, plays with these.
Everyone passes by, never even looks at him!
But I do.
I did a Mistake too,
I never asked his name.
I can not.
I feel scared!
And...
Ashamed!

Safety Rules Redefined!

The grill on the CNG auto-rickshaws were put to ensure the passengers more safety from hijacking!
But I feel the opposite!
This has now become a "Cage of death" for the passengers instead.
If the vehicle meets an accident, it will be impossible for the riders to come out. Moreover, this heavy-metal grill will crush them inside!
I just avoid using CNG auto rickshaws now!! !!

Senses in Vain!

What more to say??
This is the greatest thing we can do total shamelessly!!
Everywhere!
The day we stop doing this, I believe, we will move a hundred steps further towrds real development as a nation!

Roadside Snacks!

These are common "Easy Snacks" on the way! We eat them as if these were home-made!
A moment of "Easy eating" leads to a heck of problems!
At least keep your children away of eating these!!

Great Obedients!

Funny or not, this happens everywhere!
We, Bangladeshis certainly have great sense of humor!
T
hus we show it!
p.s.: The Authority seemed to be in a dilemma too!

Over-Bridged!

I don't know what it takes to cross the roads using the over bridges!
This mother was crossing a busy road with her kids over looking the over bridge! Is that time it takes is more valuable than the kids' lives?
On the other hand, passer-by complain that over-bridges are not at all safe for them to walk!
These bridges are the den of anti-socials!
What to do!!!???

It is My Mother Language!

There are plenty of examples like the pictures of how much we love and respect our mother tongue!!!
This is the language for what some people sacrificed their bloods!!
This is the language which is rated as the worlds most beautifully accented
language!!!
Aa mori Bangla Bhasha!!!

Flower Girl!

I know this picture is way too common and so the topic might be!
But I still can not think how a child can be the wage earner of his/her own life?
Don't we have anything to do for them?
Why should they trout over the roads to hawk things?
Could you accept it for your near and dear one?
Could you?

Love to Kill Thyself

All of we know that, the ingredients of cigarette can damage our heart & lungs & we can have a taste of death but we love to do it. So despite being an educated person this kind of harmful sense has developed in us. This is what I really call "Dealing with sense & sensibility!"

Keep in Touch with Danger

As Bangladeshis, we love to keep in touch with danger. Our intelligent government doesn't feel the necessity of the overpass for railway. That's why we, the people of Bangladesh, are always hugging dangerous accidents. So is it just our fate or an outcome of some evil intention ???!!!

Coiled by Coils

We use coils to get rid of mosquito. But these coils put us in more danger.
1. Coils produce toxic gases to kill mosquito which is equally harmful for us.
2. It can cause to serious breathing problems and eye irritations.
3. Regular using of coil effects as bad as chain smoking.

4. Coils can cause burns and fire in the house

So, is it sensible to use coils anymore? We bring coils to kill mosquito but it gradually kills ourselves!!!

The Perfect Reward!

Moral of the story: If you deal with sense, sensibility and morality, you may get punished!
That's why we remain silent, whatever happens!

Riding Death!

Again newspapers!
I am pretty sure that so many of us have already faced this kind of situation. It happens almost all the times; in case of CNG Auto Rickshaws and normal Rickshaws specially.
I just don't understand what do the drivers think when they put the vehicle in middle of two others???
Beside the passengers, aren't their lives in danger too?
Why do they lack sense and sensibility this much???

I am Ashamed!

I Have No Comments to Make.

Equal Treatment

For some unknown reason, I dislike this idea of "Mohila Seat". And specially when women are compared with children and physically disabled ones!!! How rude is that?!?
We always talk about equal treatment of women to men. Now we have equalize women, finally!
That is what everybody has accepted- women are same as any physically or mentality under- developed ones!
How blind can we be!!

Drinking Purity!

If any of you had taken a sigh of relief seeing the previous post and thought that at least you don't drink water from WASA, then you are the perfect one for this post!
We, the middle class sort of Dhaka now use these container water instead of WASA to drink. We rely on it blindly and brag over others that we don't drink filthy supply water!
That is the source of the pure container water that you buy with a healthy amount of money!
Having perspectives? Save that, that's probably the purest water you can have!

Using Purity!

I found this while browsing the internet. We all are well aware of the fact about the water we are supplied by the WASA. But did someone imagine this much?
This is one of the sources of WASA from where they filter their water to make it USABLE!
I don't think that even after a millionth time of filtering, this water can be USABLE!!!
But guess what? We already use such water everyday!

Risking it all!

On my way, I found these workers at Kakrail working on a high rise building. They were welding and at the same time standing in the thin metal sheets. I had a great terror seeing them working like that!
Any thing can happen while their this risky job. Or just nothing can happen. But the risk remains.
Everyday we hear news about the death of any construction workers. But it does not matter to us!
Shouldn't there be a good law to at least insure their lives?
Or we just forgot that they are human too!

Ekdiner Bangalee Holam Re

Now-a-days we celebrate our "Cultural" occasions very magnificently. We follow a dress code, arrange and participate on various events, hang out on that days to "Celebrate" it according to the "Theme".
Whether it is Pohela Boishakh or Ekushey February, we never miss an occasion to show how Bangalee we are!
Like this cartoon again lend from The Star Magazine, we just were a mask or a full costume to camouflage our original faces for only a day.
But have we, specially the so called "Young Generation" ever thought what would we actually are? Mutants
or Hybrids? Or Worse?

Running with the Race!

Yes! We just run these days. To be exact, we just chase things. People, fashion, habits or foods, we just run and try to get those. Without even knowing what we exactly want or need.
We are blinded now. We just run, not seeing where we are going! Just like the cartoon published on The Daily Star's Star Magazine.
